Rural-Romania

Among the best preserved rural areas in Europe is also the historical region of Transylvania. In the villages located at the foot of the mountains you will find one of the most appreciated ecological cuisines, with a wide range of unknown tastes. The harmony between man and nature is captured by the taste of refined dishes made from natural ingredients, which are so cherished nowadays by great restaurants. Everything is carefully selected. From truly tasty homegrown vegetables to aromatic herbs picked up from the forest and carefully dried all summer long, from the fresh milk and cheese brought from the sheepfolds in the mountains to the clay pots in which food is always prepared on wood fire. Here one discovers that each dish has its own story. The elderly still observe the ritual according to which certain foods can be eaten only on certain days, the lifestyle is simple and profoundly dedicated to family.
