Transilvania International Film Festival

The 16th edition of the Transilvanian International Film Festival will take place this year in what is considered to be the largest film festival in Romania. Last year it had over 79.000 spectators and it screened 248 films.

Kings of Leon

For the first time, Kings of Leon will come to Romania in June and will hold a concert in Bucharest, with LP in the opening.

Afterhills Festival

A new major festival in Iasi, Afterhills is in its first edition and will bring together over 40 artists such as John Newman, Vini Vici, ATB, and W&W, on 3 scenes.

Jazz in the Park

An event with over 100 artists that will take place in the Central Park of Cluj, over a period of one week.

Placebo

In order to celebrate their 20 year anniversary, Placebo has announced a concert in Bucharest at the end of June.

Evanescence

One of the most beloved American rock bands, Evanescence, has announced a concert in Bucharest on the 29th of June. So hurry up and grab your tickets!

Electric Castle Festival 2017

Electric Castle is one of the largest electronic music festivals. The first edition was organized in 2013 and it was nominated each year at the European Festival Awards. This year’s line-up includes alt-J, Moderat, DJ Sneak, Nero and many others.

The Long Way to the Merry Cemetery

The eighth edition of the festival is filled with various traditional activities, from summer schools to concerts and reunions, all of which will present the traditional life of the people of Maramures.

Depeche Mode

Depeche Mode returns to Romania in July for a concert in Cluj. The concert will be part of the Global Spirit Tour, a tour that is meant to promote their new album, “Spirit”. Their concert in Cluj will be the last concert of the tour.

ARTmania Festival

ARTmania Festival brings together artists from all over the world, promoting inter-cultural exchange in one of the most beautiful cities in Eastern Europe – Sibiu. The Festival includes workshops, exhibitions, concerts and more.

Sighisoara Medieval Arts and Crafts Festival

Traditional Music and Dance Festival “Sus pe Muntele din Jina”

2 days full of traditional music and dancing acts, the festival in Sibiu can give you an insight into the rural side of Romania. Don’t miss it!

UNTOLD Festival 2017

The third edition of UNTOLD Festival will take place in Cluj between the 3rd and 6th of August. It was awarded the BEST MAJOR FESTIVAL at the European Festival Awards 2015, and the first confirmed names for this edition are Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Axwell^Ingorsso, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Martin Garrix and Steve Aoki.

Summer Well 2017

The 7th edition of Summer Well will take place at Stirbey Domain, Buftea during the weekend of 12th and 13th of August, each day bringing 5 new bands. The first confirmed band is Interpol.

Bucovina MTB Marathon

A mountain bike marathon with three tracks of 16, 35 and 69 kilometers that follow the course of rivers and the tracks of the forests. Sign up for it and experience an adrenaline rush in the lands of Bukovina.

Fish Soup Festival

If you’re a foodie, you definitely should not miss this festival. 3 days of traditional fish dishes, music, and dancing, right in the middle of the Danube Delta.

George Enescu International Festival

The George Enescu International Festival is on the list of the top 3 most important events of this type on a global level. It will take place over a period of 22 days and will bring together 0ver 3.000 artists in over 80 events.

2CELLOS
